Gershwin Prelude No. 1 (Music Minus One)

Here’s Ioan Dobrinescu’s terrific clarinet quartet arrangement of the first of George Gershwin’s Three Preludes. He does such a fantastic job arranging all sorts of things, but this is my favorite by far. Better still, he offers these to the clarinet community for free. I highly recommend you google him.

Anyway, there are 5 (count ‘em!) different versions of the backing tracks that come in the download. This way, you can try your hand at all of the parts (Cl 2 and 3 are wickedly difficult in places)! They are:

• All 4 parts (so you can hear how the whole thing sounds)
