Welcome to your note-for-note arrangement of the 1960s Big-Band TV show theme, for mixed clarinet choir. This arrangement is for:
- 2 Eb clarinets
- 9 Bb clarinets
- 3 Bass clarinets
Yep, 14 clarinets.
Now, it may sound really hard if you listen to the video below, but I transposed the tune from F# major down to F major, which makes all those fast scale passages easier than you’d think. (Because I didn’t want to learn it in F# major either!)
Difficulty of parts range from intermediate through advanced.

Very challenging arrangement….but well worth the time of slowing it down & working it out. Pray for the Bass Clarinet #3 player!. We also have enjoyed working up the MAMBO, from West Side Story.
